This plugin is distributed as freeware and is provided ‘as is’, without any express or implied warranty.
The first time you run the plugin you may note Eclipse a little bit unresponsive, in some cases it will take more time to start and you will see the splash screen for a longer period. This happens only the first time you run the plugin, because the plugin must process all the source code artifacts in your workspace.
In certain situations, for instance if you have a considerable number of projects in your workspace or if you have installed some heavy plugins, you may need to increase the memory available for running Eclipse. If that is the case, see instructions on how to increase the memory available for Eclipse here.
The plugin can be installed directly in Eclipse. The installation process in Eclipse 3.7/Indigo is described in the following steps.
- Open the install new software window, selecting the menu [Help > Install New Software...].
- Add the SDiC software update site, selecting the [Add...] button.
- Select the [SDiC] software update site, then select [SDiC] for installation and finally select the [Next] button.
- Confirm the install details and select the [Next] button.
- Accept the terms of the license agreement and select the [Finish] button.
- Ignore the security warning for unsigned content and select the [Continue] button.
- Wait until the installation process is complete.
- Restart the Eclipse application.
